Scope
  • 41,760 sf buffer cooler warehouse
  • 37,580 sf 36°F cooler warehouse
  • 2,223 sf MOTC office
  • 1,960 sf refrigeration/fire protection/electrical rooms
  • 43,979 sf USDA production area
  • 2,600 sf smokehouse

Providing all design, engineering, and construction of work for this 41,763 sf cooler warehouse addition and the complete build-out/renovation of a new 43,979 sf production area. Both projects were constructed simultaneously to meet the same completion date. 

The design+build portion of the project consisted of the:

  • Construction of a new buffer cooler warehouse
  • MOTC office
  • Refrigeration
  • Electrical
  • Fire protection room, along with related site work

The production area build-out scope included:

  • The expansion of the facility's existing production areas into a new adjacent structure.
  • Coordinating the extension of existing facility conveyor systems into the newly constructed production areas. 

This work was completed without interruptions to plant operations, allowing Kraft Foods to maintain full production output during the construction project.
