Scope
- 25,600 sf of office space (1st & 2nd Floor)
- 26,500 sf of Support/Mechanical Rooms
- 67,700 sf refrigerated warehouse
- 25,700 sf dry warehouse
- 20,400 sf meat processing area
- 36,000 sf bakery area
In order to expand and consolidate their growing businesses under one roof, Kronos Products combined four separate Chicago facilities into a newly acquired property in Glendale Heights. We provided all design, engineering, and construction work required for this phased relocation into a 211,900 sf facility. For the phased move, we developed and managed a 12 month schedule that allowed for the relocation of their cold and dry storage distribution operations within three months of the project start date and the relocation of four separate food processing production lines by the project end date.
These processing lines included:
- Hand Made Bakery Die Cut Bakery
- Gyro Cone Production
- Gyro Loaf Production (Frozen and ready-to-eat)
This project was awarded the 2009 NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association Broker Transaction of the Year - Industrial.
