Clyde's Donuts approached United Insulated Structures to expand their experimental donut lines, and this 153,700 sf conversion was the perfect solution.
The facility is primarily designed for new donut production lines, featuring substantial freezer space on the east side and a large office area in the northwest corner. The southern portion is dedicated to receiving, storage, and dock space.
Clyde’s plans to transition from their Addison location, which currently has five production lines, to eventually operate lines 6-11 at this new site. One line is operational, with two more nearing completion. Additionally, they plan to relocate their primary office operations here once more production lines are fully operational.
