Americold

New construction of 181,000 sf temperature-controlled facility for Americold sits on a 20 acre site that required wetland delineation and features a two-story office/support space area and a 136,000 sf -20°F freezer with a 50ft clear height. This project was designed to be capable of adding a rail dock at the rear of the building. Additionally, the facility boasts a 480,000 gallon fire protection water storage tank and associated diesel fire pump.

Our self-perform group completed in the installation of insulated metal wall panels, floor insulation, miscellaneous carpentry items, and refrigerated doors for the facility. The LEED Silver project is certified with help from United Insulated Structures and ALTA refrigeration to coordinate the energy efficient design.
