Provided all Design, Engineering and Construction work required for the 70,000 S.F. Cooler Warehouse Addition to the Kraft Foods Louis Rich Turkey Plant in Newberry, South Carolina including all related site work.
The Kraft Foods Louis Rich Facility in Newberry, South Carolina is their largest turkey producing plant in North America. Kraft decided to consolidate the offsite storage of it’s finished goods to their facility in Newberry. UISC has a long standing relationship with Kraft Foods and was again selected to provide all Design and Construction services required for the new Cooler Warehouse Addition.
Despite the logistic problems associated with maintaining the Plant Shipping and Receiving operations throughout construction, UISC was able to complete the Addition ahead of schedule and under budget, resulting in a substantial savings to the owner.
